Best Team Building for Autumn
Summer is coming to its end and it’s time to look forward. In autumn the employees come back from vacations, tanned and relaxed, and need an incentive to restart working efficiently. What will help us to get back together our team in this time of year? Of course: a Team Building activity appropriate for the season, that will bring a lot of fun and make your team work together!
1. Wine Games
After Grape Harvest and Alchemist, this summer we planned and tested a new format linked to wine: Wine Games! It is a way much dynamic and competitive activity that you would expect from a team building format linked to tasting and recognizing aromas and flavours. Between many different tests and contests we will put to trial your knowledge of Italian and other wines, our regions of provenience, and curiosities from the universe of vinification.
Extremely challenging competitions will force the teams to show their best, creating authentic team spirit. Legs will be as quick as minds, because we will not only think, but also run! The best team will receive a prize… but at the end of the competition everybody will become friends again in the final festive toast!
2. Cocktail Challenge
Let’s boost team spirit with… spirit!
In our experience, this is the greatest activity for an evening with your colleagues. It will let you recover relationships in your office after the holidays, get in touch with coworkers you haven’t seen for a while, and have a lot of fun all together as if you still were on the seaside.
Always wandered if blueberries match with dragon fruit? Experiment, try unparalleled combinations with your teammates and create your very own cocktail. Just do not forget to decorate it with fruit or other elements… and to give it a yummy name!
Learn new skills from some of the world’s leading bartenders, get involved in entertaining interactive cocktail games and, last but not least, simply enjoy a playful time with the ones always supporting you during long working hours.
3. Survival
Has it ever happened that you had to face difficult or even crisis situations? Do you remember how you handled those circumstances? Survival Team Building is the best way to improve your problem solving skills and your teamwork!
This Team Building activity was inspired by our ancestors, that had a great capability to adapt to a fast changing natural environment. But the same characteristics are necessary in the corporate environment! We will bring the teams out of the office to open air, in the beautiful landscapes of Italian nature and mountains. The participants will have to face many challenges, such as lighting a fire, building a rope bridge, or finding a shelter for the night. During these activities, leadership characteristics and team working capacities will emerge.
4. Cooking
Cooking Team Building is one of the most effective and most required Team Building fields. Its best advantage? The large variety of solutions: a culinary team building can be made in many different ways and will adapt itself to any circumstance you need!
The possibilities space from the classic Dinner Cooking, where the participants cook the meal they will consume afterwards (it’s perfect for an original company dinner!), to a culinary challenge MasterChef style. Or, you can choose to limit your creativity to only one kind of dish: Pasta Cooking, Pizza Cooking, Sushi Making or even make chocolates with your own hands in the Choco Making activity. And for the lovers of the modern approach to the cuisine, we have developed brand new formats such as Finger Food Factory (that you can match with a Cocktail Challenge for a perfect Italian aperitif!) and Healthy Cooking (where you will learn to prepare vegetarian, vegan and detox dishes). Last but not least, Social Cooking will let you help others while helping your team to work better!
5. Dinner with Murder
Dinner with Murder is a detective role game perfect for a company dinner with your employees, managers or clients. In this live theatre experience your guests communicate, interact and have fun together.
During the dinner the guests will be informed that a horrible crime has been committed in the building, and they can’t leave it before solving the puzzle. They will find some evidence, basing on which they will reconstruct the murder story and discover what actually happened. All the people in the location are potentially suspected and everyone knows something, but not everybody is willing to help! So, interrogate the witnesses, but be careful: they may or may not say the truth!
Will you find the guilty and bring him to justice? Start the game to discover if you’re a good detective!
6. Movie Making
This is one of our most beloved activities, the one that guarantees fun and engagement to any group of participants. The secret is the variety of solutions a Movie Making can be adopted for. You can shoot a film about your company, a spot for a new product or service, or a short story movie!
Participants, divided into teams, will have the opportunity to feel like being on a real film set. After a short briefing concerning the steps necessary to a movie production, they will write the script, prepare the story board, find the locations and the actors, and then will start shooting. Some will feel perfectly at their ease on the stage, while others will find their place behind the camera. The end result will be surprising!
Try this activity in autumn to film coloured trees and falling leaves. The colours will be perfect for any story you like to tell.
7. Outdoor Training
One of the most thrilling Action Teambuilding activities, Team Building Outdoor proved itself effective for groups of every nationality, age, gender and professional position. It’s a formula that provides An intense rhythm, a lot of various activities, great interaction with one another and fun.
This kind of team buliding activity is a good mean to know each other and/or enhance mutual knowing in unusual, original and funny ways. Will be proposed activities that will permit to build bonds between participants through body contact, stimulating collaboration, self-confidence and trust. Outdoor activities don’t let anyone to remain aside. Everybody must participate to the team work to gain the common aim!
The teams must reach a goal, find the solution of a problem, abiding by some precise rules. They will make it through obstacles, engage a challenge with themselves and others, rush in a race agains time. All of it in using creativity and the infinite resources that the team possesses.
8. Body Percussion
Body Percussion is the activity that engages and connects people. Music indeed, without any doubt, is a powerful tool to create interactions and bring people together. Within just a couple of minutes, by means of their bodies, guided by our Music Trainer participants are able to reach synchrony.
Body Music combines elements of various cultures. It goes back to prehistoric times, when people used sounds created with their own bodies to communicate. Nowadays, is more and more often considered as a tool to create and develop relations, improve individual and team performance and to understand better the communication processes.
Body Percussion Team Building is the event that suits to any size of group and can be used at many levels, like an energizer and ice breaking activity during a conference or symposium, or a team building activity with purpose of fun or of real teamwork training.
9. CSI – Crime Scene Investigation
CSI Team Building is based on the popular TV series CSI – Crime Scene Investigation. It’s a powerful tool to create relations between colleagues and build a collaborative team in an atmosphere of mystery and crime (but, of course, also with a great amount of fun and entertainment!).
After receiving a set of information the game begins. By investigating tracks and analyzing evidences, CSI Team Building Participants have to figure out what had happened.
Focus on details is one of the main elements of the game! Every single evidence has its own importance, and may have a real impact on the final result of the investigation. Cooperation is necessary in order to reconstruct the sequence of events. No one can expect to solve the case individually! Only by using all the materials, exploring all the evidences, interviewing all the witnesses, teams have a chance to reveal the truth. They learn to separate facts from suppositions, an ability that is very useful also in professional life.
10. City Game
Our City Games, or Treasure Hunts, are really our favourite activities. Not just a city tour: a creative and engaging game! A Treasure Hunt is an outstanding way to visit the most interesting and attractive places of the most beautiful cities of Italy and Europe, and autumn is one of the best seasons to do it.
Divided into teams, participants will get acquainted with historical, artistic and cultural aspects of the city. Fun and challenging activities will allow them to collaborate, interact with other people, express their creativity and build a strong team. They will use an iPad to solve puzzles and perform creative and photographic tasks!
Our City Game can be done in very different ways, according to our clients’ needs we can select a theme (art, history, mystery, sport, food and many others) and a city in Italy or abroad.
